How To Use

Removal of the Tyre

  • Place Tyre Glider into the palm of your hand. This allows the user to use both hands for strength in lifting the tyre bead for the scoop of the Tyre Glider to fit under.
  • Position Tyre Glider in the gap and then ‘scoop’ the lip fully under the bead.
  • Lever the Tyre Glider back with the bead being pulled over the rim and the Tyre Glider sitting horizontal.
  • From this position, use full bodyweight if needed to push in a forward or downward motion to glide the tyre off the rim.

Installation of the Tyre

  • Put one side of the tyre onto the rim. Hold tyre and rim in one hand. Clip the Tyre Glider onto the rim by moving the tyre to one side.
  • From here, engage the bead behind the Glider by pushing down and then moving the Tyre Glider by pushing forward.
  • The bead behind will automatically seat itself going around. Move the tyre as your pushing for easier use. The tyre bead will glide back onto the rim.
  • If you encounter any resistance, stand with the wheel between your legs and push down.

  • Start opposite Tyre Glider and pinch bead down towards it on either side.
  • Flip tyre back around holding Tyre Glider in place and push forward gliding tyre off the rim.
