Only four stars because I haven't yet used it for an emergency puncture repair out in the wild. At home I was able to take off a tight tyre and put it back on with no difficulty. Initially you wonder how this little piece of oddly shaped plastic could do anything useful. Watch the video on the website and you soon realise which end is which! Important to loosen the tyre first and press it over firmly so you can get the hook of the glider under the edge of the tyre and then lever it over the rim. After that removal and replacement was a doddle.

I was prepared to be a little sceptical but it really does work! Took off and refitted my Vittoria Saffiro tyre, which had one side fixed to the rim of my Boardman bike. In the past, I had to go to the shop to get them to do it as I was loath to use tyre irons for fear of damaging the inner tube. The video is brilliant and I really appreciate it being done with such a tricky tyre type and in the rainy outdoors rather than in a warm studio. For really tricky refits and for those of us without strong thumbs, I would recommend two things – 1. Aim to start and end at the valve and 2. Squeeze the tyre so its rim is lying at the lowest point of the frame rim. This made a huge difference. Off to my local bike shop to recommend they now stock it!

Picked up my first Tyre Glider a few years back at the Welsh CX Champs and have not looked back since! All the cyclists in the house (three of us!), have at least one and it is the go-to tool for getting those pesky Challenge handmade CX tyres on! So simple but soooo effective! Do yourself a favour - and get one!

I cannot believe how incredible this product its!..what took an hour, and with blisters, to mount my tubeless tyres on my Mavic carbon rims which are a nightmare, this product has them on in minutes!

My friend from the USA first made me aware of your product. Watched the vid and practised on a spare wheel. Very impressed. I’m actually looking forward to a Flat😳 just to show off with the guys I ride with.

Fitting a new inner tube is something I have never really struggled with, however, getting a flat after a long steep climb on a very hot day left me in less than a positive mood. As a former engineer I dubious as to how the Tyre Glider would perform. I need not have worried. Once i had pushed the bead off the rims the tyre came off with little effort and to refit it was just as easy. Normally the last part of fitting the tyre on my wheel rims is difficult but in this case the bead went over the rim with ease. A great device, something I would recomend to any one.

After failing to remove a Schwalbe Marathon tyre from my rim with normal levers I saw a you the Tyre Glider on a you tube video so I purchased one. I must say I was very sceptical at first as these Marathon tyres are known to be difficult to fit and remove but I gave it a go and the tyre came off and went back with no problems. I can’t recommend this lever enough, every cyclist should have one.

What a revelation. I used dread having to change a tyre on my bike and was constantly worried about puncturing as I could never get my tyres back on. I've now changed 4 or 5 tyres with the Tyre Glider and it's an absolute revelation. The first time I used it I actually took the tyre back off again so I could remount it just to make sure it was as easy as I thought. Even a new tyre for my road bike went on first time, no problem. The tool to take the tyre off maybe isn't as good, but lets face it, its getting the tyre back on that's always the issue. I am going to by a few more in case I lose one.

I knew chunky tubeless tyres were going to be tight, and tricky with carbon rims - really didn't want to be forcing with levers. Using it looked obvious and straightforward so I gave it a go without looking at the instructions, and yes they were definitely tight, but on they went no bother at all. Thank you so much. The rims also say thank you!

Much easier to remove and replace tyres, without blisters or curses. Great!

Tried out my new Tyre Glider this week on two road tyres. Standout features: Tyre removal is faster and easier than conventional levers. No pinching of tube when replacing tyre especially if tight fit. A clever design

The first time I used it I found it hard to get the tyre back enough to fit the tool. But after some experiments I found the right way. I was so impressed, I bought another one for my second bike.

My fourth purchase, now have one on every bike. They’re invaluable

I bought this a week ago after having a torrid time with getting a tyre on a week or so nicking 2 inner tubes and snapping a tyre lever that was supposed too be foolproof I eventually got it on it must have taken me 35 minutes. I’ve just put two tyres on today with the Tyre glide in less than 5 minutes wow thanks it also saved my thumbs.
